Improving the health and wellbeing of women in sport and exercise requires specialist, joined-up, evidenced-based research.

This Research Cluster will focus on important female-specific and intersecting health and wellbeing issues – spanning the impact of the menstrual cycle on female health and performance to the effective engineering design of sportswear for pregnant women.

Bringing together a range of multidisciplinary expertise and industry partners, this Research Cluster will enable cross-cutting research that advances gender equitable research and innovation to improve the health and wellbeing of women in sport and exercise.
