There is a real sense of community and family at Loughborough University, and our Faith and Spirituality Centre provides a peaceful place for our students to come and reflect, explore and express their faith and spirituality. It’s a place for you to pray, meditate and to meet others. You’ll find that both our London and Loughborough campuses are very inclusive.

We have over 100 clubs and societies for you to join in your spare time ranging from sports to religious societies. The Bhangra Society is very popular with our Indian students. Our Indian students celebrate various religious festivals with us on campus each year.

Every year the LSU hosts an event on International Day which celebrates the different cultures here at Loughborough with free entry and free food. In the past we’ve had over 40 stalls representing their country – it’s fantastic. The LSU also runs an International Students’ Network which is run by a team of students (you could join this committee) with the sole aim of helping and supporting international students once they arrive on campus. Not only are there are lots of events, societies and groups designed to help you feel more at home, you can also influence the experience future international students have if they decide to study here by becoming part of the international student committee.
