There is a real sense of community and family at Loughborough University, and our Faith and Spirituality Centre provides a peaceful place for our students to come and reflect, explore and express their faith and spirituality. It’s a place for you to pray, meditate and to meet others. You’ll find that both our London and Loughborough campuses are very inclusive.
Students from Hong Kong are well known for fully immersing themselves in the multitude of different things that the fantastic Loughborough student experience has to offer. However, if you find yourself missing Hong Kong, you'll be pleased to learn that both London and Loughborough have a huge variety of restaurants and food shops, offering everything from authentic Cantonese food through to a range of world cuisines. Although Loughborough is a lot smaller than London, most Asian food can be bought from the Oriental Store in town (located opposite the Rushers bus stop), a there is also an aisle in Tesco with the name of “World Foods” which you can go to stock up on food such as cooking-sauces and rice. It is also rather simple to buy through online oriental stores as some may provide next-day delivery right to your doorstep!
Our Loughborough Students’ Union (LSU) plays a key part in our students lives, helping you to build friendships and make amazing memories. There are lots of ways for you to get involved, whether you want to join one or two of the many societies available (we think you'd like our Chinese Society), join a club, be part of RAG or Action or go on one of the LSU trips. There is so much for you to get involved with, you’ll quickly make friends and feel right at home.
