I’m a building services engineer, and my research area is building performance simulation.
I am attracted to this field because of the increasing need for energy-efficient buildings, hence the demand for related professionals in the construction industry. I find it exciting that there might be positive impacts of my research on society.
The computer I am holding represents my work in simulating building energy performance, like electricity consumption and carbon emission using computer modelling and applications.
