Fifty new students receive Opportunity Scholarships thanks to generosity of donors

Imagine setting your sights on Loughborough University, studying hard, and achieving brilliant grades, but not knowing whether you can continue your education due to financial strains or personal circumstances. For some students, that is the reality of their decision as they leave school and look to leave home, deciding whether they can manage their studies alongside jobs, caring responsibilities, and other challenges.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our alumni community, donations to our recent Opportunity Scholarships appeal have fully funded a £9,000 scholarship for a Loughborough student.
