Dr Sahar Mousavi
Lecturer in Marketing
Dr. Sahar Mousavi is a Lecturer in Marketing at the School of Business and Economics, Loughborough University. Before joining Loughborough University in 2017, Sahar was a Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Manchester, UK. She received her Ph.D. in Marketing from the Alliance Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester and her MBA from the University of Birmingham, UK.
Dr. Mousavi serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Product and Brand Management and European Journal of Marketing and has been an ad-hoc reviewer for several international journals. Sahar also serves as a reviewer, discussant, and session chair for various academic conferences.
Sahar was awarded the Dean’s Award for Early Career Teacher of the Year in 2019.
Dr. Mousavi is the Associate Director (Engagement) at Centre for Service Management at Loughborough University.
Dr. Mousavi main research interests lie at customers’ engagement in social media and virtual communities, branding, and customer service experience.
