Biography

Aparna completed her Master's and Bachelor's degrees in physics at Loughborough University. She began her PhD in October 2024 and is currently working with Dr. Mark Greenaway and Dr. Fasil Dejene on research aimed at advancing spin defect qubits.

Research

Aparna's research focuses on van der Waals heterostructures, investigating the quantum dynamics of electrons in emerging two-dimensional (2D) devices, as well as the fabrication of these devices.
