The Mathematics Learning Support Centre (MLSC) provides award-winning mathematics and statistics support for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as a dedicated statistics advisory service for postgraduates and final year project students.
In your studies you may well encounter mathematics and statistics that is new and challenging to you. Loughborough's award-winning Mathematics Learning Support Centre (MLSC) is here to help you. Mathematics and statistics support is available to every Loughborough student throughout your university journey, whether on campus or not. The dedicated and friendly Tutors will help build your confidence to tackle the mathematics or statistics content of your modules and can support you with anything from a quick mathematics question to exam revision to the statistics in your research projects. The MLSC is based in Room 0.20 of the Schofield Building and is open as a private study space, during term time, between 10am-5pm Monday-Friday (except Wednesday 10am-4.30pm) with Tutors on duty to answer your questions between 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm daily.
Easter mathematics and statistics support
This Easter, the MLSC are proud to announce a programme of remote statistics support including 1-1 statistics advisory sessions for final year project students/PhD Students and back by popular demand, our remote group Dissertation Café’s, where stats expert Safa Elsheikh will answer your questions regarding gathering & analysing data.
