Research groups and centres

Hossein received his Ph.D. from the Computer Science Department at Loughborough University. Following this, he spent two years working as a Senior Software Engineer in the industry. He then returned to Loughborough University as a Research Associate on the PERFORMS research project, which aimed to enhance radiologists' ability to identify early signs of cancer. Subsequently, he joined Birmingham City University as a Senior Research Fellow, working on an ERDF project that provided support to small and medium-sized enterprises in the West Midlands in leveraging data to develop their products and services. Since 2019, Hossein has been a lecturer in Computer Science Department at Loughborough University.
