I am a Research Associate in Human-Centred AI in the Computer Science at Loughborough University. My academic background is rooted in Human-Computer Interaction and it's intersection with AI. I hold a Masters in Science in Social Research Methods from Swansea University, where my research focused on platforming work-essential skills for people with health conditions affecting cognition.
Following my studies, I worked as a Brilliant Club Tutor at The Brilliant Club, aiding women and non-binary individuals from underprivileged backgrounds get into universities in Computer Science degrees.
At Loughborough, my current research explores utilising AI to aid in its implementation within the Research Excellence Framework (REF), with a specific focus on how to effectively and ethically implement AI in the evaluation of research papers with a 'scorecard' system.
I am deeply interested in the multi-disciplinary intersection of Computer Science and Social Science, and outside of the lab/classroom, I enjoy both video and board games, and going to the gym.
