Simulating Offensive Methods

Abstract

The presentation will demonstrate common methods used during red team assessments. It will cover hunting for sensitive data, the uses of such data, and common methods used to enumerate cloud and physical environments. There will be plenty of time for questions during and after.

Neil Lines is an offensive security, red team specialist, with over 14 years’ experience in performing internal, external infrastructure, web application, social engineering, and red team engagements. Before specialising in security Neil worked in IT engineering roles including desktop, networking support, and design. Neil has released tooling, performed guest lecturing on adversary simulation at UK Universities and has spoken at many security conferences. Neil is working as a Red Teamer at NCC.
