Placement progress meetings
Find out more about the placement progress meetings you will have with your student(s) throughout the year.
Three placement meetings will take place, the first typically within three months of the placement start date, the second before the end of March and the third before the end of June. When possible, we advise the line manager to be present at all three meetings.
The purpose of the meeting is for the student, the Placement Tutor and the line manager to meet and discuss the progress of the placement and the requirements of the DIS/DPS and address any queries.
It is the student’s responsibility to arrange the meeting to suit all parties involved. The Placement Tutor will have a checklist to work through to ensure they have gained all the information they need from the meeting.
Should it be required, further contact or even a further meeting, can be arranged on a needs basis.
