I obtained my BSc (Hons) in Social Science with The Open University and studied for an MA in Terrorism, Crime, and Global Security with Staffordshire University.

My undergraduate studies mainly revolved around criminology and I wrote my dissertation on mass shootings in schools in the USA, examining the links between matter and perceptions of security. For my postgraduate study, I wrote my dissertation on the terrorist threat from the far-right in the UK, in relation to populist support.

I am now continuing my research as part of the Water-WISER CDT, focusing on water conflict.
