Apprenticeship Programmes at Loughborough

For many years, we have been proud to deliver Level 7 Degree Apprenticeships in Systems Engineering, Senior Leader, and Infrastructure Asset Management Professional. These programmes have enabled professionals to develop advanced knowledge and skills while delivering meaningful impact within their organisations. We remain extremely proud of the achievements of our apprentices and the strong partnerships we have built with employers across a wide range of sectors.

Following changes to the national funding arrangements for Level 7 apprenticeships, we recruited our final cohorts to these programmes in September 2025 and are not currently accepting new applications. While this marks a change in our apprenticeship portfolio, it does not reflect the value we place on these programmes or the significant contribution they have made to individuals, employers and industry.

Our commitment to current apprentices remains unchanged. All learners already enrolled on our programmes will continue to benefit from the high-quality teaching, specialist expertise, and dedicated support that underpin the Loughborough learning experience, and will be supported to complete their apprenticeships successfully.

As the skills and funding landscape continues to evolve, we will continue to explore new opportunities to support employers and professionals through high-quality work-based learning, professional development and other relevant pathways.
