Pop-up Maker Space (Jan)
Take a break and get creative at our free lunchtime drop-in.
About the session
Join us for our first Pop-up Maker Space of the new year, with quick and simple creative activities suitable for all. Everyone knows that it’s good to take a break from your desk or screens for a short while, and doing something creative can be great for your wellbeing. Whether you’ve got 15mins or an hour, there’s something you can make or do in the time you have.
Each Pop-up session has a different focus, which is self-led with simple instructions to follow if needed. The main activity for this Pop-up will be Zodiac Vision Boards. Lunar new year is 'year of the horse', representing adventure, energy and courage. In this session, you'll create a vision board to set your intentions for the new year, full of positive momentum.
Our Arts Events Assistants will be on hand to welcome you and chat!
The session is taking place in Martin Hall, in the ground floor foyer. There will be signage to direct you on the day.
Our regular Pop-up Maker Space sessions take place on the fourth Thursday of the month in different locations on campus from 12.30-2.30pm. Keep an eye on our website for details of each session.
Accessibility
There is step free access into Martin Hall. An accessible toilet is located on the ground floor corridor as well as a lift to the first floor.
If you have any specific access requirements or anything you would like us to be aware of, please let us know in advance by emailing LUArts@lboro.ac.uk and we will do our best to accommodate them.
