Create a one-of-a-kind tote bag with a positive embroidered design.

About the event

Celebrate International Women’s Day by embroidering positive words to create a one-of-a-kind tote bag. Our arts worker Holly Sykes will teach you some basic stitches and help guide you through the process. Take away your unique bag at the end of the session to keep for yourself or gift to someone.  

This workshop is beginner-friendly and all materials are provided. 

There is a suggested ticket price of £3 to cover the cost of materials, with a ‘Pay What You Can’ option.  

About Create & Connect 

Create and Connect is a series of monthly creative workshops open to all students, taking place in the Library on the second Tuesday of the month. Each session is a one-off and must be booked in advance. They are a chance to meet new people, learn new skills and make something to take away.  

Accessibility 

There is step free access into the building and Seminar Room One is located on the entry level floor. There are accessible toilets nearby. For more information, view the Access Guide for Pilkington Library on AccessAble.
