Create & Connect: Craft your own jewellery

About the event

*** For Loughborough University students only ***

Unleash your creativity and make your own jewellery! You will upcycle second-hand jewellery pieces from charity shops using silk clay (a user-friendly material) and embroidery threads to create necklaces, brooches, earrings and more. Transform something unwanted into something valuable and unique to wear yourself or gift to someone else!

This workshop is beginner-friendly and all materials are provided, including the recycled jewellery.

There is a suggested ticket price of £3 to cover the cost of materials, with a ‘Pay What You Can’ option.

About Create & Connect

Create and Connect is a series of monthly creative workshops open to all students, taking place in the Library on the second Tuesday of the month. Each session is a one-off and must be booked in advance. They are a chance to meet new people, learn new skills and make something to take away.

Accessibility

There is step free access into the building and Seminar Room One is located on the entry level floor. There are accessible toilets nearby.
