Alumna Sri Hollema launches Mat Zero’s Founder’s Edition heated product range

Following success with her Mat Zero concept earlier this year at Innovate UK’s Women in Innovation Awards for 2025, Sri Hollema has now reached the commercial launch phrase of its limited Founder’s Edition heated product range.

Mat Zero is an impact-first enterprise pioneering safe and sustainable heating solutions. For every item sold, Mat Zero will match by donating a heating unit to an individual or family in need, reinforcing its mission of ‘Warmth for All’. 

This milestone represents Mat Zero’s transition from early-stage development and field trials to commercial availability, ensuring that social impact remains at the heart of its growth strategy.  

The Founder’s Edition combines cutting-edge low-voltage heating technology with a modular, durable design, and each purchase directly supports humanitarian distribution. The company has partners in Ukraine and connections with remote medical centres in Nepal and also supports UK homelessness.  

Following the launch of the product range, Sri said:

Support from Innovate UK has been instrumental in Mat Zero’s journey, enabling the company to progress from concept to prototype, deliver successful field trials in Nepal, and prepare for market readiness. Their backing has helped Mat Zero develop a business model where commercial growth directly fuels humanitarian reach.
