Indy said: “Think of Lucid as a mood layer for your life. We believe how you feel should shape what you see. So instead of endless scrolling or recycled watch lists, Lucid uses real-time emotive signals to curate cinematic content that elevates your current moment – helping you reset, reconnect, or amplify the energy around you. At its core, Lucid is for people who want media that feels human.”
Since its inception, Lucid has received investment from leading early stage Venture Capital investors including Techstars, Antler, and Crush It Ventures. They have experimented, grown, pivoted and just recently launched a revamped app experience that streamlines content discovery even further using their Emotive AI technology.
Indy graduated in 2018 with a BA in Politics, and so far their career has covered roles across tech and investment banking, which in turn triggered a move to New York in 2021. This year, they were featured in Forbes 30 under 30.
After moving to the United States, Indy married their partner who is an award-winning artist, and together they were able to identify the market gap, which guided them into building the start-up, initially called PerformVu.
Well done and good luck Indy.
