Sport should be a space for growth, joy and belonging – never harm. It’s an honour to be the first CEO of Safe Sport International and lead an organisation founded on world-leading research and international collaborations.”

"I am delighted to welcome Neal in his new role as CEO of SSI.

Neal has been a driving force in our organisation as Chief Operating Officer and his experience as a psychotherapist, coach, educator, and international advisor gives him a truly unique perspective on how to build safer, more inclusive environments in sport.

“The Board and I are confident that Neal’s leadership will ensure SSI continues to grow as the independent global voice for safeguarding in sport – supporting athlete voices, organisations, governments, and communities to make and embed lasting change.

On behalf of everyone at SSI, I warmly congratulate Neal and look forward to working with him in this new role."

Congratulations Neal.
