Alumnus Max Robinson has recently released Revelation, the first book in his trilogy, Nariko’s Voyage. Revelation was released on 5 June 2025 on Amazon in both eBook and paperback formats.

This book follows seventeen-year-old Nariko who is offered a chance to end her nightmares by stopping an oil drilling project. She discovers that she has been chosen by a dragon to protect the earth.

Dr Jane Goodall, PhD, DBE, Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, reviewed the book:

Nariko’s Voyage – Revelation is a moving story of courage and compassion, reminding us that just one single person has the power to make a difference. This inspiring journey, for young and old alike, captures the essence of hope and gives a voice to the voiceless creatures with whom we share our planet. It reminds us that every action counts and that together, we can restore harmony between humans and nature.”

Max is a writer, documentary film maker and photographer, who was born in Yorkshire. He has a life-long interest in wildlife and is also co-founder of a charity called Rainbows4children. Max graduated from Loughborough with a degree in Chemistry in 1978.
