The Fellowship programme supports emerging artists in the transitional period between completing visual arts degrees and embarking on a professional career as an artist or designer. Focusing on promising graduates who face a range of significant economic, social, cultural, physical and mental health barriers it provides an unrestricted bursary and tools needed to advance their careers.
Between October and July, in partnership with Artists Futures Fund, Loughborough University, Liverpool Hope University, Cardiff Metropolitan University, Swansea College of Art, and the University of Sunderland will host the Breakthrough Artist Fellowship, selecting graduate artists to spend time in studios and workshops, alongside Fine Art students at all stages of their degree.
Applications made to AFF are invited until 27 June. Fine Art alumni who graduated within the last two years are eligible. For further information and for any queries, please contact Liz Hawley-Lingham.
