Building partnerships in India

Prof James Stanyer and Dr Vaclav Stetka (Communication and Media) have recently visited higher education institutions in India to discuss potential research and teaching partnerships

During the first part of the visit in Delhi, they held discussions with senior academics from Shiv Nadar University and Amity University. For the second part of their trip, they were hosted by Manipal University and conducted meetings with academics and students in the areas of Communication and Geopolitics. Prof Stanyer and Dr Stetka also visited the Gandhi Centre. Prof Stanyer, Director of Centre for Research in Communication and Culture, said, “The visit was an illuminating and rewarding experience. It was great to meet faculty at some of India’s leading universities. We hope to return and develop contacts further in the future.”
