International applicants

Welcome to the Loughborough University web page for students from the Caribbean!

We welcome students who have completed the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE). This qualification is sufficient for direct entry into the majority of undergraduate programmes. Entry requirements range from ‘2, 2, 2’ -  ‘1, 1, 1’ achieved from three 2-unit exams with specific subject marks of ‘1’ or ‘2’ required by some programmes.

Where programmes require achievement in GCSE Maths, we would normally look for a score of ‘3’ or higher in Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Maths.

To satisfy English language requirements, we also ask for a score of ‘3’ in Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) English.

Students taking Advanced Placement Exams (group A) or SAT II Subject Specific Tests should refer to entry requirements for the USA.
