One of the most transformative experiences during my time at Loughborough was my placement year at BDO UK, where I worked as a Conflict Analyst in the Liverpool office. The placement gave me technical skills, but more importantly, it taught me about myself - what I want from a career and how I thrive in a professional environment.
I learned how to communicate effectively, manage my time and collaborate with diverse teams. These skills will stay with me long after graduation. The experience also gave me a real insight into working life, which has helped me plan my final year with purpose.
