Apart from being in the UK's top 5 for Materials Science, I chose Loughborough because I found that the university's industry links that offered excellent future prospects for placement and graduate employment. Whilst visiting on the Open Day, I fell in love with the campus and the friendly and welcoming atmosphere felt like home to me.
