The support I’ve received during my studies has been great. The School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences considers feedback from students during and after each module and are quick to implement this. The teaching staff are always very supportive, and they answer questions posted on forums swiftly and in depth.

I have particularly enjoyed attending practical workshops and tutorials, where I’ve been able to apply what I’ve learned to different situations. Smaller class sizes during workshops and tutorials also means that you’re able to refine your academic skills, ask any questions you may have and receive feedback on the quality of your work.

Another thing I love about my course is the option to pick a language module. After completing a semester of French with the Language Centre, I have realised how many benefits it has, including improved communication skills and enhanced cultural awareness.

In addition to academic support, throughout my time at university the Careers Network has been helpful in developing my professional skills. Having a dedicated Placement Officer who is insightful and provides personalised guidance and weekly bulletins made it so easy to find placements and has also been a valuable resource.
