A night out with the boys

My favourite thing about Loughborough is the people. The strong sense of community is something that has stood out to me throughout my time here.

I play basketball and football, and I took part in IMS (IntraMural Sport) for my hall, Towers. I have also served as a Wolfson School Subject Student Ambassador, helping at open days. These experiences helped me develop my communication, leadership and interpersonal skills. Speaking with prospective students and their families taught me how to explain ideas clearly and build my confidence.

To anyone who’s thinking of studying here, I say: take advantage of every opportunity available to you. The Foundation Year is not just about academics; it is an opportunity to develop confidence, make friends, learn how to study effectively and prepare yourself for success in your degree. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there and get involved in university life.

Overall, my time at Loughborough has been a journey full of challenges, achievements, friendships and memories that have made every step worthwhile.
