I completed my placement at Aston Martin as a Finance Analyst. My job role covered various projects, such as creating an efficient cost model, the integration of finance systems and building a cost management model.
I then went on to do a summer internship at PwC in assurance, where I worked on internal and external audits for both the public and private sector.
As a result, I was offered a graduate job at PwC next September and will be studying towards the ACA qualification. Luckily due to the comprehensiveness of my degree, I will be exempted from several exams, as I will have studied specific modules already.
My favourite thing about Loughborough was the community and atmosphere, everyone was so friendly and sociable. I would suggest getting involved with anything that interests you, even if it's new to you. Don't hold back and enjoy every moment.
