If you're considering a placement, I’d say: absolutely do the four-year degree. The placement year gives you perspective, confidence, and clarity. It’s a chance to test out what you enjoy, discover new interests, and build valuable connections. Don’t limit yourself. Apply to roles outside your comfort zone - you might discover something that suits you even better and even if you don’t return to the same company, you’ll leave with valuable contacts and a stronger sense of direction
