Throughout my degree, I have made the most of a wide range of support services and extracurricular opportunities. The university’s careers centre provided invaluable CV workshops and one-to-one guidance, which helped me to strengthen my job applications and prepare effectively for interviews. I also attended careers fairs where I could meet and speak directly with employees from various companies I was interested in applying to. These events gave me valuable insights into what employers are looking for in applications and helped me better understand the recruitment process. 

If you're thinking about joining Loughborough, my advice would be to make the most of every opportunity from the outset. Get involved in campus life, whether that’s joining societies, taking part in volunteering projects, or attending networking events. These experiences not only help you make friends and settle in but also develop skills and interests beyond lectures. Don’t be afraid to step into new environments or try something different; it’s often where you learn the most about yourself.

Remember that university is as much about personal growth and discovery as it is about academic achievement. Embrace challenges, seek feedback, and make time for both work and fun, you’ll leave with not just a degree, but a wealth of experiences and memories to draw on throughout your career.
