Travelling to Loughborough

Car parking on campus

Please note that you will need to register your vehicle via APCOA to ensure you can park for free. You can either do this before you arrive or with us upon registration on the day of your visit. 

If you choose to register your vehicle before you arrive, please follow the step-by-step guide below:

1. Visit the APCOA Prebook website
2. Search for Loughborough University, and enter the date and time of your booked interview or visit day, and click search
3. Click 'book now' on Loughborough University Car Park (it will show as Epinall Way, Loughborough LE11 8TT, this covers all car parking on campus)
4. Confirm the location, date and times and click 'book now'
5. Enter your details as requested, making sure to include your vehicle registration number
6. Enter MEME into the promo code section - this will take the parking total to £0.00
7. Click 'book now' to complete your car parking registration
   

Travelling by car

• M1: Loughborough is situated just off Junction 23 of the M1 in Leicestershire, mid-way between Leicester and Nottingham. Continue along the A512 towards Loughborough (Ashby Road), go straight over the first roundabout, then take the 2nd exit at the roundabout (right hand turn) onto Holywell Way. A member of the Security Team will be there to assist you.
• A6 from North and South: follow signs for Loughborough, then University and/or Nanpantan.
• A60 from Nottingham or A511 from Leicester or Burton: follow signs for Loughborough, then University and/or Nanpantan.

  Visitors are requested to head for the West entrance to the University (Holywell Way). After going through the security barrier, please take the 2nd exit at the 1st roundabout and then go straight over the 2nd roundabout to find Holywell car park.
  
  Please park in Holywell Car Park (the postcode for Holywell Park is LE11 3GR).
  

Travelling by train and coach

• A University Sprint service operates between the University/Town/Railway Station every 15 minutes; ask for the University (bus stop will either be 'University Mechanical Engineering' or 'Holywell Park' depending upon registration location; bus fare approx £3).
• A taxi stand operates from the railway station, please ask for the University (please check your itinerary for registration location; taxi fare approx. £8-£10).
• Coach travellers will arrive at Loughborough Town Centre (The Rushes); this is also the stop for the University Sprint bus service (see above).

Travelling by aeroplane

• Nottingham East Midlands Airport is a 20 minute taxi ride from the University; ask for Loughborough University.
• A Skylink bus service runs from Nottingham East Midlands Airport to Loughborough Town Centre, where you will need to connect with the University Sprint bus service (see above).
