My undergraduate Sport Management degree provided a solid foundation in how the sport industry works, and developed my passion for sport for development and issues related to equality, diversity and inclusion.

During my degree, I took a year-long placement in Paris, where I served as a Sport Development officer. This experience solidified my passion for sport, enhanced my desire to work in sport for social purposes, and deepened my understanding of sport for development issues, particularly youth empowerment and employability.

I also undertook a summer internship at the French Basketball Federation, where I worked as a Gender Equality and Inclusion officer, before joining their Social Impact Committee.

These experiences led me to my current role as an intern at UNESCO, where I contribute to the Fit for Life initiative with a specific focus on Africa.
