The student community has also played an important role in my experience. I’ve made friends who actively support my musical interests, helping me stay motivated and confident and having such a positive and encouraging network has been a key part of my time at University. I also admire the focus and dedication of Loughborough students, which has positively influenced my own mindset.

For anyone considering studying at Loughborough, I would describe my experience as thoroughly enjoyable. I would encourage you to make the most of every opportunity, both academically and socially. There are many excellent societies to get involved in and for those interested in music, there are also swing and pop music groups you can join.

Albert will graduate from Loughborough University in 2026.
