Our programmes provide training in digital culture, media, communications, sociological and anthropological theory, as well as quantitative and qualitative methods.
We offer a rich variety of taught postgraduate master’s programmes relating to media, communication and culture. The courses are delivered by an internationally-renowned interdisciplinary team, through the use of contemporary case studies and research-informed applied teaching and learning. These courses provide training in media, communications, digital culture, sociological, anthropological, theory, as well as quantitative and qualitative methods.

Our superb campus is one of the largest single-site, green campuses in the UK, yet we still have a friendly and inclusive community that includes over 4000 postgraduate students.
You will have use of spacious study areas, well-equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment. You will also have access to our library, which has excellent learning resources and additional workshops that are free for you to attend to develop your critical thinking skills and approach to academic reading throughout your postgraduate studies. Also available on campus is a bank, a Medical Centre and physiotherapist, grocery stores, a cycle shop, a parcel service, a pharmacy and an opticians. The local bus service links the University with the town centre and railway station, and students can ride for free across campus.
