Dr Brahim Benyahia

Professor in Chemical Engineering

After education, Brahim worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT, USA and focused on developing the first end-to-end continuous pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. Currently, he is leading several major research projects focused on Digitalisation and Sustainable Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.

Professor Eileen Yu

Professor of Electrochemical Engineering

Joining Loughborough in 2020, Eileen holds a Chair of Electrochemical Engineering in the Department of Chemical Engineering. Her research group focuses on novel bio-electrochemical systems for healthcare, CO2 utilisation and energy and environmental applications.

Dr Gül Ozcan-Taskin

Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering

Gül spent 20 years in industry where she set up, managed and actively contributed to multi-partner, multi-disciplinary R&D and consultancy as well as industry-based PhD projects prior to joining Loughborough. Her research relates to mixing and dispersion, including energy-intensive processes.
