Study Skills module LUA001

This study skills module includes resources and advice on a wide range of academic skills topics including searching for information, referencing, digital fluency and critical thinking. It also includes material to help you develop your study skills including, time management and planning, reading and note-taking, essay and report writing and presenting. 

Advice and planning sheets - these are incorporated in the module in the relevant topic areas, with the planning sheets being available from the time management and planning section

Dissertation and Project success module

Whether you are a final year undergraduate or a postgraduate taught student, a new Learn module dedicated to dissertation success has been launched to help you with your writing journey. From on-demand materials on planning your time and researching the literature to learning about the structure and content of each chapter of a dissertation, this module will guide and support you alongside additional live, bookable workshops.

English Language Support module LUA010

This module offered by the Academic Language Support Service provides details of learning resources and workshops aimed at international students whose first language is not English.

Mathematics Learning Support Centre

In your studies you may well encounter mathematics and statistics that is new and challenging to you. Loughborough's award-winning Mathematics Learning Support Centre (MLSC) is here to help you. Visit their web page for details of their in-person drop-in service and bookable online appointments offering support with anything from a quick mathematics question to exam revision to the statistics in your research projects.
