Visit the Chaplaincy display in Pilkington Library to read student and staff reflections on the importance of interfaith dialogue from diverse perspectives.

Interfaith week is from 8 to 15 November 2026, with this year's theme, 'Lighting the Way for a Shared Future', inspired by the symbolism of light across faiths and traditions.

This year's theme celebrates hope and the belief that even in challenging times communities can come together to build understanding, trust and friendships. This vision is championed throughout the year by the Chaplaincy, which provides a welcoming space for people of all faiths and none, supports opportunities for dialogue and learning, and works in partnership with students, staff and faith-based societies to foster a culture of respect and belonging.
