Our Master's degree
Our Chair is affiliated to an exciting Master's degree programme at Loughborough University: the MSc in Sport Management, Politics and International Development.
The programme provides students with a strong critical understanding of diverse themes and issues in sport development, management, policy, and politics.
Key modules include Sport and International Development, Sport Integrity, the Politics of Sport, the Development of Sport, and Sport Policy, Governance and Law. Students also have the opportunity to undertake a research-based dissertation on their chosen subject.
The programme attracts a large and diverse cohort of international and UK students, and is taught by our team of academic staff who are recognised globally for their research and teaching expertise.
Students benefit from our collaborative work and links with many leading organisations including UNESCO and other United Nations agencies, the Commonwealth Secretariat, European Commission, International Olympic Committee, International Paralympic Committee, and national sport bodies such as UK Sport.
