Opportunity to join Loughborough’s Women In Science Portrait Collection

Loughborough University’s Women in Science portrait and story collection introduces female scientists working at Loughborough University. They are from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds and at different career stages, from doctoral researchers to professors.

The aim of the exhibition is not only to showcase the excellent work of these scientists, but also to illustrate the diversity and relevance of the contributions that they make to society, with the hope of inspiring and empowering future generations of female scientists.

We are inviting all Loughborough University staff (including PGRs) who identify as women in science to add their portraits and stories to the existing collection.

If you would like to take part, the next slot is for having your photo taken is:

  • Wednesday 3rd April (14:00 – 15:00pm)
  • Hazlerigg Building (Oak Lounge)
  • Please access the Sign Up Form to reserve a slot.
  • Please bring along a small object that relates to your research area or job role/
