School of Science Film Night
The School of Science warmly welcomes you to our first film night of 2023.
On Thursday 23rd of March at 5pm in EHB.1.10A, we will be showing ‘The man who knew Infinity’ based on the life of Srinivasa Ramanujan featuring Dev Patel, Jeremy Irons and Stephen Fry.
Srinivasa Ramanujan is widely regarded as one of the world’s most original mathematicians. Without much formal mathematical training, he achieved a large number of results, many of which were unlike anything seen before. “The Man who Knew Infinity” presents the story of his life and his relationship to his mentor G. H. Hardy and Cambridge University.
We welcome all staff and students to our film night and ask that you register your attendance using the link.
To give the true film night experience, we will be providing cinema treats and refreshment for all who attend.
