Frederic Dias: The Fascination of Ocean Waves

The lecture will be on “The Fascination of Ocean Waves” and will be given by Professor Frederic Dias (UCD Dublin and ENS Paris), a world-leading applied mathematician and European Research Council Laureate.

The event will start at 17:00 with light refreshments in the Student Learning Zone (Schofield Building) followed by Professor Frederic Dias’ public lecture in room SCH.001 at 17:30.

It is a great opportunity to see some research at the forefront of applied mathematics to ocean sciences and to interact with academics and other students interested in the subject.
