Profile

I am a Doctoral Researcher at the Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Technology (CREST) at Loughborough University. My research focuses on improving the performance and efficiency of cadmium telluride (CdTe) thin-film photovoltaic devices, with a particular interest in understanding and optimising the materials and interfaces that influence device performance.

I have a background in mechanical engineering, having completed both my BEng (Hons) and MSc in Mechanical Engineering at Loughborough University. Prior to beginning my doctoral research, I gained experience across both academia and industry, including engineering roles within the manufacturing and energy sectors and experience supporting undergraduate engineering teaching.
