Background
Tianhui Li finished his BSc Genetics degree at the University of Liverpool in 2019. During his undergraduate studies, he developed a keen interest in engineering.
After graduation, he attended the MRes Bioengineering programme to study electronic engineering at Imperial College London, and graduated with merit in 2020. In 2021, Tianhui joined LFI Technologies as a hardware engineer, based in Shenzhen, China. He then proceeded his study into low power electronics and energy harvesting at the same year, following Dr Hailing Fu at Loughborough University.
Low power sensing and energy harvesting provides the possibility of permanent continuous sensing with little maintenance. Possible application areas includes, healthcare, aviation and environmental monitoring. This project aims to design and fabricate a usable and reliable energy harvester to power implanted sensors for healthcare purpose.
