Title of thesis: Microstructure and thermomechanical properties of modern cast irons
Through microstructural analysis, advanced mechanical testing, numerical simulations and statistical analysis of microstructural features, researching the main mechanisms of deformation and fracture and the link between the microstructure and mechanical properties of advanced cast irons. The research could contribute to controlling the manufacturing process of modern cast iron products more precisely and improving the quality of cast iron products.
