Further collaboration includes:
- Agreement to co-author papers as part of the AKT research as well as wider System Engineering and MBSE topics
- Synoptix employees enrolling on the System Engineering Master’s Apprenticeship as part of their Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Hosting Year in Industry students.
In addition to the above we will be working together on future research topics and will informally be working together to work up these exciting research ideas. This AKT project was sponsored by Innovate UK (Project ID 1334) and both parties wish to thank Innovate UK for the support and funding to enable this to happen.
Michael Henshaw, Professor of Systems Engineering, Loughborough University, said: “The AKT format demands agility from all partners; we were delighted that this industry-academic partnership enabled rapid development of ideas leading to genuinely impactful results. We are delighted to extend our collaboration with Synoptix for future mutual benefits."
Mark Stanton, Synoptix Engineer Director said: “We are thrilled to be developing our relationship with Loughborough and this is proving beneficial for both parties. The recent AKT project has opened the door for future collaboration, and we are excited to grow our relationship with this world leading institution.”
