SDCA Success at the Vice-Chancellor’s Annual Awards

We are delighted to share the fantastic achievements of our colleagues at this year’s Vice-Chancellor’s Annual Awards, where SDCA once again had a remarkable presence.

The awards are a flagship celebration across the University, recognising and showcasing the outstanding work of staff. This year was particularly competitive, with a record-breaking 400 nominations received across 18 categories. SDCA stood out as the most engaged school or service, with colleagues shortlisted in an impressive 10 categories.

Celebrating Our Winners

We are thrilled to congratulate Charlie Henshaw and Rhiannon Payne, who won in the Learning and Teaching Excellence category for their outstanding contribution to the Graphics programme.

SDCA staff were also recognised as part of wider University team awards:

  • Gary Burnett, as part of the Digi-Labs Team, joint winners in the Learning and Teaching Excellence category.

  • Roberta Bernabei, as part of The Network of Networks, winners in the EDI Enhancement category.
