As Director of UG Student Experience (since Mar 2025), Dr Sansoni provides an equitable and quality learning experience for all undergraduate students in SDCA.

As Lecturer, she is extremely passionate about her job with the focus on practice-based learning, research for ethically oriented topics, and tailored mentoring with undergrad and postgrad students.

Dr Sansoni is passionate about Research Methods (UX), Emotional Design, and Design for Sustainability. 

As Director of UG Student Experience (since Mar 2025), she provides an equitable and quality learning experience for all undergraduate students in SDCA.

Key activities include:

  • Workshops with students to define the student experience through journey mapping their undergraduate and postgraduate years.
  • Discussions with students, PL and staff to define staff expectations of student experiences.
  • Development of a complaints process for the School.
  • Module feedback review 
  • Facilitating the identification of improvement opportunities across the student cohort and staff team

Certified as Mental Health First Aid Champion, she deeply cares about the well-being of any individual at work.  

Dr Sansoni has extensive experience in visual design and user-centred research. She strongly believes in the power of UX Design to create a more liveable and better future.

Since 2022, her research has focused on the Visual Design of below-knee Prosthetic Devices, with a goal of eliminating the stigma of disability and promoting a positive perception of Assistive Technologies.

She has been involved in research on Environmental Sustainability since 2023.

Dr Sansoni’s teaching experience is centered on the Graphic Design program within the School of Design and Creative Arts (SDCA), at both undergraduate and MA levels.

  • Supervision of MA students for their final dissertation. 
  • Supervision of undergraduate placement students.
