Professor Neil Budworth is the Director of Health, Safety and Wellbeing at Loughborough University, where is he is also a visiting professor in Occupational Safety and Health in the School of Design and Creative Arts.
Neil is a Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management, an Honorary Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine and has received the University Medal for distinguished service and Distinguished Service Awards from both RoSPA and IOSH.
Neil is Past President of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and a Past Chair of the Universities Safety and Health Association (USHA). He was also a lay Board member of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine.
He has more than 35 years experience of working in health and safety across a number of sectors.
