Retracing and re-entering marks, they embody rhythms, deviations, and connections, transforming embodied sensations into dynamic, score-like drawings.

Joanna Leah and Orla Bates are collaborators merging movement and drawing. Joanna explores body space through embodied choreographic practice, creating line-making rooted in experience. Orla's work focuses on drawing as a somatic, in-the-moment inquiry. Together, they blend embodied movement and visual art to explore their practices physical and conceptual intersections.
